Phase 2 teaching practice ( nov24-nov 26)

During these days, I taught topics like absolute value, distance, and midpoint using different teaching models such as concept attainment and activity-based methods. I also used a working model to explain distance, which made the lesson more interesting and clear for students. I noticed that students were more engaged when I used models and interactive methods. Some students actively participated and answered questions, while a few needed more support to understand the concepts. This helped me understand the importance of using teaching aids and giving clear explanations. I also conduct an achievement test in last Day to evaluate students understanding.

Phase 2 teaching practice ( nov17-21)

These days of  teaching practice were very productive and helped me improve my teaching skills further. During t hese days, I taught topics related to area of a circle and conducted problem-solving sessions. I used PPT and activities to make the class more engaging. I also conducted a diagnostic test to understand students’ learning levels. These experiences helped me identify students’ strengths and difficulties. I took inquiry training model lesson plan in one day. I observed that activity-based teaching increased student participation and interest. Some students were able to solve problems confidently, while a few needed additional support. This made me realize the importance of giving individual attention and proper guidance.

Phase 2 teaching practice (Nov 10-14)

This week  helped me become more confident and comfortable in the classroom. During these days, I continued teaching circle-related topics, gave more problem-solving sessions, and used PPT to present questions. I also handled substitution classes, which improved my classroom management skills and adaptability. I was able to interact more with students and understand their learning levels. I noticed that some students were quick in understanding concepts while others needed repeated explanation. This helped me realize the importance of using simple language and giving more examples. Conducting classes regularly improved my teaching flow and confidence.

Phase 2 teaching practice (nov 3- nov7)

The first five days of my teaching practice were a meaningful and enriching experience. I was able to understand the school environment, follow the timetable, and gradually adjust to classroom management. Beginning my teaching journey in a real classroom helped me connect theory with practice. I introduced topics in circle measures and engaged students through explanations and PPT presentations. These days helped me build a friendly relationship with students and improve my confidence in teaching. I also learned the importance of time management, clear instruction, and student interaction. Some students required more guidance to understand concepts, which made me realize the need for patience and varied teaching strategies.
