Phase 2 teaching practice ( jan 12-16)
During these days, I taught topics like area of a sector, prisms, and volume of prisms. I introduced new concepts, solved exercise problems, and used PPT presentations and group activities to make learning more engaging. I also used a constructivist approach with real-life problems to help students relate mathematics to daily life.
I observed that students were more active and interested during activity-based and discussion-based classes. Many students were able to solve problems with confidence, while a few needed extra guidance. This helped me understand the importance of giving clear instructions and individual support.
